Daimyo Cards
Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Daimyo Cards ("the game", "we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. The game is published by Charles Chang (Bao Bao Gaming Studios), Ontario, Canada.
The short version
- You can play without giving us your real name or email. The game creates an anonymous account for you automatically.
- We collect only what the game needs: your player name, your cup results for the monthly ranking, and a backup of your progress.
- Optional purchases (koban and "No ads") are handled by Google Play or Apple; we never see your card details. We do not sell your personal information.
- You can delete your account inside the game at any time (see Deleting your data).
What we collect

| Purchase records (only if you buy something): which item, when, and the store's transaction ID | To deliver what you bought, restore "No ads" on a new phone, and handle refunds. Payment itself is handled entirely by Google Play or Apple; we never receive your card or payment details. |

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone audio.
Information stored on your device
The game keeps your progress and settings on your device so it works offline. Uninstalling the game removes this copy; your cloud backup remains until you delete it.
Public information
Your player name, the number of ranked cups you played and your monthly winnings appear on the Shogun Ranking and in your league table, which other players can see, along with your league. Nothing else about you is shown.
Who we share it with
- Supabase: hosts the game's server and database (accounts, names, cup results and cloud saves).
- Google and Apple: payments for purchases, and sign-in if you choose to link an account.
- RevenueCat: processes purchase receipts from the app stores.
- Google AdMob: shows ads.
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
One account across our games
Daimyo Cards shares its sign-in with our other games. Linking Google or Apple creates a Bao Bao Gaming Studios account, and the same login signs you in to any of our titles. Each game stores its own data against that one account.
Deleting your data
In the game: open Settings → Account & cloud save and tap Delete my account & online data. This immediately deletes your Daimyo Cards cloud save, player name, cup results and ranking entries, and starts a fresh profile on your phone. If your account is not used by any other Bao Bao Gaming Studios game, the account itself is deleted too.
By email: you can ask us to delete your whole Bao Bao Gaming Studios account by emailing the address below from the email linked to your account. This removes your data in every Bao Bao Gaming Studios game. We will complete the request within 30 days. See also our account deletion page.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. Final monthly rankings are kept as a record of past prizes; deleting your account removes you from them. Accounts inactive for 24 months may be deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA and U.S. state laws such as California's CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us below.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the game.
